| Due to very high
temperature at melting point, welding generate air-borne pollutants,
fumes ... which can reach the welder's and other operators' breathing
zone. This welding fume contains many different sized particles which
contaminate the air. Some of these particles are microscopic in size.
These invisible particles are the most dangerous as they can pass
through the lungs into the circulatory system. ------------------------------------------- To ensure worker safety, it's necessary to remove pollutants close to the point where they are generated, before they disperse (welding torch with integral suction, extraction arm ...) and to provide a healthier environment (extraction unit, extraction table ....). |
